New Nenoin Study Sheds Light on Peripheral Neuropathy Treatment

Neuropathy, or in our local language - "Pangangalay" - is a chronic condition among those who have peripheral nervous system problems caused by lack of Vitamin B Complex affecting daily life.

Fortunately, a recent observational and non-interventional clinical study looked into different etiology cases of peripheral neuropathy sufferers with an aim to find treatment of the ailment and the symptoms.

This landmark clinical Nenoin study  also showed benefits on symptoms of peripheral neuropathy.

Understanding the Nerves

For the unfamiliar, the nervous system coordinates voluntary actions like walking and involuntary actions like breathing and swallowing.

The components of the nervous tissue enable impulses sensation and motion between the brain, spinal cord and other parts of the body. Overall, the nervous system allows us to perceive, comprehend, and respond to the world around us.
Peripheral Neuropathy
Peripheral Neuropathy is a nervous system disease
On the other hand, Peripheral Neuropathy is a disorder affecting nerves, impairing them in their function of transmitting information and potentially affecting millions of people worldwide. It can cause various body discomforts, such as tingling, increased or decreased sensitivity to vibration, hot or cold, numbness, muscle weakness and even burning pain.

Moreover, Peripheral Neuropathy can cause "typical symptoms" which appear more often; and "atypical symptoms", which are less frequent and can be overlooked or misinterpreted.

Its symptoms include paresthesia (muscle weakness), numbness, burning and sharp pain. These initially seems innocuous but have an impact of the patients' well-being and their quality of life.

Early detection and treatment are crucial as well as effective treatment options, which relieve patients from their symptoms without having to suffer from significant side effects.

The Nenoin Study

Good News Manila recently joined a presentation of the Nenoin Study in a symposium held at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas, Pasig City, Philippines. We came as an audience where we learned a lot.

It was led by Dr. Rizaldy Pinzon who came all the way from Bethesda Hospital Yogyakarta and Duta Wacana Christian University School of Medicine, Yogyakarta in Indonesia.
Peripheral Neuropathy
Peripheral Neuropathy can be acquired or hereditary
This new clinical study (Asian Journal of Medical Sciences, Jan 2018) has brought a major step forward for nerve health:
it has demonstrated that an effective treatment helps relieve all neuropathy symptoms (observed in the study), regardless of the cause of peripheral neuropathy.
It was conducted to investigate efficacy and safety up to 90 days (with 5 different visit over time) and use of fixed dose combination of Vitmain B1 (100mg), Vitamin B6 (100 mg), and Vitamin B12 (5000ug) once-a-day over meals with a sample size of 411 patients across 8 centers in Indonesia (multicenter study over a period of 1 year from December 2015 to December 2016).

Whether the patients were suffering from numbness, pain or paraesthesia (usually painless sensation like tingling or itching, often felt in the arms and feet) they experienced relief on all these symptoms. It was also observed that the longer they used the treatment, the more relief the patients felt from these symptoms.

Finally it is also very reassuring to see that the treatment has shown a good tolerance profile over the whole duration of 3 months.

In summary, the observational, non-interventional clinical study confirms the benefits of a unique treatment for all. The peripheral neuropathy sufferers treated with a combination of three neurotropic B vitamins have experienced improvement on all neuropathy symptoms; independently from the cause of their ailment.

On Neurobion Treatment

Various treatment options are available for the management of neuropathy including ana over-the-counter drug called Neuribion. The Neuroblon Forte treatment which is composed of a neurotropic B vitamins combination has been proven effective for peripheral neuropathy sufferers in relieving symptoms; and have been included into the study independently from the cause of their disease.

The Nenoin Study is indeed a landmark step towrds the betterment of nerve health in the field of medicine and clinical studies!

Make sure that you don't prolong the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy as early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to maintenaning the quality of life (QoL) and avoid further progression of the disease.
