LRI Design Plaza, one of the metro’s design hub, is celebrating its 7th anniversary with a showcase of timeless pieces focusing on Filipino culture, innovative interior design, and furniture.
The
LRI Artist Series entitled “
ANALOGous:
DeTubo + Debuho + Lumang Plaka + Bagong IDeya” opens 6pm of
March 23 until
April 2, 2011. It features laid back retro and classic pieces as
Rosscapili collaborates with
OneWorkshop and interior designer
Pinky Peralta.

The first feature in the Artist Series,
ANALOGous features the artistic discipline in conceptualizing art fusion with painting, photography, graphic design and vinyl sound works by Ani ng Dangal Presidential Awardee for Visual Art Rosscapili."
Pinky Peralta will exhibit the Filipino Vernacular, Casual Classic, Modern Funky, Bohemian, Post Modern, and Retro spread on the second floor while guests will be serenaded with tunes from vinyl records (
long-playing record albums) and vintage deTubo amplifiers.

On
March 26 and April 2, a series of free lectures will be held hihglighting on turntable set-ups lecture by
Rene Rivo, a peek inside a vinyl collector’s world by
Atty. Dante Pamintuan, and classic and contemporary imagery by
Darrel Pobre and
Rosscapili.
