Going Green, Going Solar with Green Heat

Undeniably, more and more groups and organizations are going green and eco-friendly. The world is finally coming into terms with the environment in their battle against global warming and harnessing recyclable energy into more productive use. One of which is Green Heat.

In the Philippines alone, one by one, the major cities are passing local laws discouraging and prohibiting the use of plastics even in major grocery stores and supermarkets. We can now see, at the consumer practice level the shift towards a more environment-conscious life.

Focus on Solar Energy

Among many ways to going green, recycling energy through the sun's heat is one of them, For many years now, we know at the back of our heads that we can harness the power of the sun to save on energy cost

More commonly referred to as solar power technology, the system basically collects energy from the sun to generate electricity. This can then be used to power a portion of a home or office’s electrical needs. Depending on the type of system, a complete home or office set-up normally powers select appliances such as lights, air-conditioners, and certain electrical outlets.

How Solar Energy Works

Using photovoltaic panels (called PVs) commonly installed on rooftops, solar panels collect DC power and send it to an inverter which then converts it into AC (alternating current) power. The AC power then goes from the inverter to the electrical panel, where it now becomes ready to use. Once the solar system produces more power than needed, the meter actually spins backwards.

Benefits of Solar Energy

Among other things, solar energy reduces the amount of fossil fuel that is burned. This subsequently reduces the pollutants and CO² that make it to the atmosphere.

Solar Power Technology within Reach

Every individual households needs a customized approach in their solar system setup. This is done to get the best possible performance maximized cost and energy savings.

In the Philippines, one company which can help in this area is Green Heat (GH). It is a locally-owned business engaged in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar PV systems. Green Heat has already been part of numerous large scale projects such as the ADB solar power plant, the Rural Electrification of the Philippine government, and other private installation. They use the world's most dependable solar technology which is silicon-powered.

The solar modules and panels also work better in absorbing energy even in low light conditions. Moreover, their “self cleaning” technology means low maintenance cost for the owner equipped with a special layer in the solar glass of the modules which causes water to run off more quickly.

I am no expert in solar technology, but it sure is good news for the Philippines that the solar PV technology is now is more readily available through Green Heat
