Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko Aga Muhlach

It's time to give away the gifts! A few days before Christmas, Jollibee host a grand Maaga ang Pasko bash for 400 kids with celebrity Aga Muhlach in PICC Forum, Pasay City.

This is where they gave away the gifts they were able to collect when the Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko drive started months ago. Christmas has always come early for kids especially for the country’s biggest and longest running toy and book collection drive. This year, hundreds of beneficiaries from all over the city celebrated a Christmas filled with big gifts and delicious feasts, and overflowing with well-wishes during Jollibee’s most-awaited year-end bash.

"As we celebrate the 16th year of Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko, it’s only fitting to make it an even grander venue to reach out to the less fortunate and allow them to enjoy the biggest and brightest Christmas ever...Thanks to the support of the Jollibee Foundation, our customers and of course, our Jolly Toy Scouts, we are able to generate funds from the proceeds of our Jollibee and Friends Dolls. As promised, these will be used to build the much-needed classrooms, pool in the toy and book donations and share them with the many kids who need them the most,” says Albert Cuadrante, Jollibee Vice President for Marketing.
About 400 kids were treated to a grand gift-giving celebration led by Jollibee executives and long time Maaga ang Pasko partner Aga Muhlach. Among the chosen beneficiaries were kids from Brgy. Tonsuya, Malabon; Sacred heart, Quezon City; Plainview, Mandaluyong; Pateros Church, Brgy. Sta. Ana; Brgy. Bagong Tanyag, Taguig City; Brgy. 13, Pasay City; Brgy. 157, Pasay City; Brgy Taguig; Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pasay City; and Nuestra De Perperto Socorro, Sampaloc Manila. Coming from the region’s poorest communities, the children were selected by Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko partners like the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Hands on Manila, Habitat for Humanity, Social Services and Development Ministry, and Jollibee Foundation.

As with previous years, the number of gifts collected will once again be matched by Jollibee, thereby doubling the amount of donations and reaching out to even more kids. Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko has collected more than 30,000 gifts over the years.

Popular child actress Jillian Ward, Jollibee and Friends plus select members of the Jollibee Kids Club gave out inspiring performances that made the event more memorable, Drew Arellano and Lyn Ching served as the day’s dynamic hosts.

The kids also enjoyed other Christmas thrills including fun games, cool activities like balloon twisting and face painting, and got their fill of their favorite Jollibee treats.
